HVAC Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Tues - Sat, 6-3, 7-4, OR 8-5
NYC REFRIGERATION LICENSE MANDATORY!
One of New York's most natural and earth-inhabited institutions is temporarily seeking an HVAC Supervisor to join the team! The assignment will be intact for three months, but may extend beyond the engagement end date, depending upon the needs of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The HVAC Supervisor will:

Supervise unionized work force responsible for maintaining and monitoring required temperatures in all buildings, glasshouses, and laboratories.
Troubleshoot control problems and rewire components.
Perform operation and maintenance of the HVAC system.
Coordinate and implement existing computerized work order system.
Provide emergency response to Electrical and HVAC systems.

This is an estimated 3-month contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in New York City. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.

Required Skills

Required Skills for this HVAC Supervisor position include the following:

NYC Refrigeration License A MUST! (Please do not consider this position if you DO NOT hold this!)
Five (5) years of experience:

In Workforce Management
With HVAC and Refrigeration systems

Knowledge of Building Management Systems and the ability to learn glasshouse climate controls
Ability to read Schematics
Low Pressure Boiler Certification a plus
