This role will work in partnership with the Senior Buyer, assisting with a very large, new warranty and repair project. The project involves managing large gearboxes and generators as they go through the company's repair loops.

This is an estimated 6 month contract position through Volt Technical Resources- a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, located in Portland, Oregon. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.


Required Skills

Required Skills for this Buyer position include the following:
5 years experience in procurement or supply chain
Experience writing and reviewing purchase orders
Have an understanding of contracts and frame agreements
Experience using an MRP/ERP system-SAP is preferred
