Job Listing: Experienced Audiologist
A prestigious and growing specialty medical practice, located in Erie, PA, is selectively looking for an experienced Audiologist to join their practice. This practice provides specialty service to the tri-state area and a majority of primary care physicians recommend the practice to their patients.
In this role, you will provide full range of hearing, oto-neurologic and vestibular diagnostic/rehabilitative services. The services are provided on-site to the Otologic patients of the medical practice and outside referred audiologic appointments. These services include:
Pure tone and speech audiometry
Visual reinforcement audiometry
Tympanometry
Acoustic reflex testing
Evoked otoacoustic emissions testing
Electrocochleography
Auditory evoked potential recordings, both for threshold determination and evaluation of the central auditory nervous system
Vestibular function tests with electrical recording (to include) Spontaneous nystagmus testing, Gaze nystagmus testing, Positional nystagmus testing, Optokinetic nystagmus testing, Oscillating tracking testing, Caloric vestibular testing utilizing thermal irrigation
Hearing aid examination and selection utilizing current technology
Electroacoustic evaluation of hearing aids
Aural rehabilitation to include instruction on care and use of all styles of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices for home, work and school environments
Ear protector attenuation measurements and hearing conservation recommendations
Ancillary duties:
Provide liaison services between the local public and private schools and the office of the medical practice.
Participate in community instructional seminars
Equipment maintenance and calibration
Scheduling and scheduling direction for appointments for all aspects of patient service interaction and patient record keeping

Required Skills
The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:
Master's or Doctorate Degree
Previous practicing Audiology experience
State license/Certification desired
