Required Skills

Skills must include knowledge of accounting, medical terminology and legal and regulatory issues. Intermediate levels of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, in addition to basic math knowledge. Candidate must also possess critical thinking and analytical ability. Good written and verbal communications. Ideal person will have good human relationship skills, organized and detail oriented. Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Must be Certified Employee Benefits Specialist CEBS and have four years underwriting experience in the health insurance industry. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management or related field or Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN are essential.
