Job Listing: Material Handlers/Shipping Receiving Clerks
Are you looking for long-term opportunity with a growing company? Volt Services Group is currently recruiting for a dependable individual with a diverse background in the warehouse industry. This person will manage all activities related to the handling, storage, inventory control and record keeping of production and non-production material, as it relates to one or more of the following functional areas: receiving, packaging, shipping, warehousing, and stocking. This candidate will receive inventory, perform hand counts and verify that materials received correspond with packing slips, bills of lading and purchase orders. Items received will be recorded into appropriate logs. The candidate will then process orders and requests and route to appropriate departments and companies.
Additional Responsibilities: o Understand and follow safety policies, procedures, and drawings while ensuring quality work. o Maintain function-specific records and files. o Verify that material and documentation corresponds while transporting, issuing, and storing
material. o Lift, carry, and stack packages up to 50 pounds. o Handle changing priorities and other duties as required. o Coordinate inventory activity with internal customers.

Required Skills
High school diploma. Requires experience in a materials, inventory or manufacturing environment. Familiar with the operation of computer programs, machines, equipment, and tools related to material control functions (i.e. part counting scales, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) Strong data entry skills are desirable.
