Required Skills

The data analyst will provide in-depth data analysis/research on new and existing data requests and assist in strategizing and developing enhancements to our internally developed applications. Individual will utilize his/her skills in data analysis when working to fulfill query and reporting needs from both technical and non technical requestors. Other responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): providing input on technical standards and assisting in evaluating new or alternative tools, standards, guidelines, and policies; documenting work flow; assisting the database administrator with related tasks; mentoring internal team members; writing complex procedures/routines for data imports; and performing quality control and data integrity checks.

Position Role/Responsibilities
* Process complex analysis, utilizing SQL skills and advanced T-SQL skills
* Gather specifications/requirements through meetings with peers
and management
* Perform SQL Server 2005 administration tasks
* Develop solutions using SQL Server Integration Services
* Utilize advanced understanding of concepts and development of relational database structure and data normalization on application enhancements and other small miscellaneous corporate projects
* Manage/lead projects for application enhancements and other small corporate projects
* Provide recommendations to management on potential analysis tools and reporting to meet business needs
*Train/mentor other data analysts
* Continue growing business skills and knowledge with self-motivated education
