JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the analysis, design, programming and modification of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications. Works on problems of moderate scope. Contributes to the implementation of the organization's goals and objectives. Frequently interacts with outside customers and functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information. May determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments and provide guidance to nonexempt personnel.
Required Skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in computer applications programming. An additional 4 years related experience may be substituted for a degree. Experience with ASP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Dreamweaver; understanding of SQL Server 2000; solid track record in n-tier web development; creating test scenarios; be able to jump in, learn quickly and make an impact immediately since time is a constraint.
DESIRED SKILLS: Experience developing in .NET
Desired Experience: USCG experience, DoD experience, Apache Tomcat, Struts, JSP, Apache Axis, java web services, JDBC, Apache Ant, Castor Source Code Generator, MySQL, XML, SOAP Messages
This is a short term project, with the chance of becoming a permanent position for the "right person".
