Job Listing: Channel Manager, Payroll
The Channel Manager position is designed to manage the performance of sales channels by analyzing business driven inputs and develop programs to enable system capability and channel development.
TYPICAL DELIVERABLES
* Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategy for a growing and evolving channel sales model.
* Forecast and support programs to meet channel revenue and profitability targets based on inputs.
* Develop success metrics and use data analysis channel performance, refine programs that maximize sales results.
* Drive cross-functional initiatives by partnering with channel marketing functions to deliver channel centric messaging, tools and processes to enable high sales productivity.
TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
* Analytical skill to accurately forecast channel sales and results.
* Exceptional ability to partner and act as liaison between Marketing and Telesales by offering strategy, prioritization and input management.
* Fosters a positive working relationship with BU leaders, Marketing and Sales Managers
* Ability to assess short and long-term tradeoffs.
* Quickly grasps the implications of marketing input changes and creates effective test scenarios.
* Understands customer needs and create programs that will enhance the "moment of truth."
* Performs multiple tasks concurrently.
* Demonstrates high degree of initiative and self-management.
* Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
TEAM/LEADERSHIP SKILLS
* Contributes to building an effective Sales Channel Management organization.
* End-to-end accountability for project/program deliverables by engaging decision makers at appropriate levels.
* Collaborates in a professional manner with sales management and sales teams across Telesales.
* Partners with other BU groups to grow and develop relationships with customers.
* Influence critical multi-year business deliverables.
* Fosters an environment that encourages constructive debate leading to better outcomes.
* Leads and drives projects.
Required Skills
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor of Science Degree required.
* Versed in channel sales model strategy to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
* Strategic & Tactical Planning, development and implementation of strategic objectives to achieve business results.
* Experience in sales forecasting and planning to reach revenue goals.
MBA preferred
* Understanding of marketing inputs to insure end-to-end customer experience.
* Advanced financial modeling .
* Product Management & Marketing background desirable.
