Job Listing: Expediter/Jr. Buyer

This aerospace engineering and manufacturing client is in need of a Expediter/Junior Buyer for their Beltsville, MD office. Volt is seeking a candidate to provide administrative support to the senior purchasing personnel. Responsibilities will include research, analysis and source selection of supplier database.

Duties may include:

* Data input of orders into an automated system for Buyers

* Direct placement of low dollar, low risk purchase orders

* Online credit card reconciliation

* Daily tracking and expediting of purchase orders and reports

Required Skills

* A minimum of 2 years experience with Procurement/Purchasing including quoting, tracking and expediting orders.

* Excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and the Internet.

* US Citizenship

* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills.

* Experience in Deltek Costpoint highly desired.
