Job Summary:

• The Professional Search Recruiter performs the placement of qualified candidates into regular/direct positions with Volt’s customers. Generates candidates and job orders through cold calling and targeted sales and recruiting activity. Work overtime and non-traditional business hours as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, and interview industry professionals to build an active database of qualified candidates. Conduct behavior-based interviews to qualify the candidate’s professional strengths, accomplishments, motivations and personal career objectives.

• Generate viable job orders from customers – taking accurate job descriptions and understanding company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.

• Submit appropriately screened candidates to the customer, guiding the placement process through finalization including negotiations of salary, benefits and fees. Develop candidate presentations highlighting professional achievements and references.

• Prepare candidates for client interviews, providing them with the client’s objectives for the position and highlighting segments of their work history that will compliment those objectives.

• Spend dedicated time actively marketing to management level executives both candidates and positions through telephone, e-mail and correspondence.

• Actively build sales by engaging in inside/outside sales to develop new accounts and further penetrate existing business.

• Negotiate placement fee agreements and employment offers with key decision-makers in a variety of industries.

• Collaborate with branch teams, account representatives and managers in order to further client relationships, increase orders and gain new candidates.

Required Skills

-1-3 years minimum Direct Hire Recruiting experience required-solid CS recruiting background will be considered as well. Experience in IT, Engineering or Life Sciences a must.

• Proven sales success-1 year minimum experience
