Cold Fusion / Flex Application Developer
Our Client is seeking an experienced Developer to contribute to developing business metrics and reporting sites, templates and modules for content management systems and building business decision management tools.
Responsibilities:
Web application development of interactive, dynamic sites; leveraging the latest development methodologies in ColdFusion, Flex and Action Script.
Work well with a large Web Development team.
Architecture, component and code development, and integration and test on large projects.

This is an estimated 1 year contract position through Volt Technical Resources- a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, located in Portland, Oregon. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.


Required Skills

Required Skills for this Cold Fusion / Flex Application Developer position include the following:
4 years experience in ColdFusion application development, including the use of object oriented design practices.
1 year experience producing websites with advanced technologies, including Flex and Action Script.
Strong grasp of technologies such as XML/XHTML and XSLT, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Flash Remoting and Fusebox.
Able to demonstrate work and code samples from multiple projects.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
Macromedia ColdFusion MX certification a plus.
Strong communication skills (ability to interact with customers to determine needs and requirements).
Highly motivated and self-directed.
The ability to work on multiple projects at once and effectively manage small projects.
