This is an estimated 3 - 12 month contract position through Volt Technical Resources- a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, located in Portland, Oregon. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Required Skills

Required Skills for this Network and Server Engineer position include the following:
Knowledge of current server technologies and applications including backups, network mirroring and system configuration
Network experience -DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Monitoring, Vlans and Cisco
Experience with Apache and MySQL, Perl and PHP scripting
Experience supporting and troubleshooting for clients, networks and end users
Excellent written and verbal communication Self directed, but works well with team
Education Requirments: CCNA and MCSE certifications (MCSA might substitute for MCSE for right candidate)
