Job Listing: Accounts Receivable Accountant

Volt Services Group is looking for an experienced Receivables/Accounting Specialist to join a reputable and growing insurance company here in Chicago.

The Receivables Specialist will be responsible for the general accounts receivables maintenance of the company, billing statements & inquiries, collections, managing the receivables accounts in the general ledger, journal entries to appropriate accounts, receivables monthly close, and various other projects.

Required Skills

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting plus 1-5 years of insurance receivables experience. Insurance industry experience is required! Strong computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel are required for the position. Strong communication and relationship skills are also required.
