Volt Workforce Solutions, a leader in the global staffing services, is seeking a Regional Manager to manage 3 Chicago metro branch offices and drive profitability.

The responsibility of the Regional Manager is to establish strategic priorities and sales direction, to develop client relationships while increasing sales opportunities. They will be responsible for the success, development and profitability of their organization by determining the sales direction and to supervise the recruiting efforts for their branch offices, effective hiring and on-going staff development. This manager will work directly with their branches developing new business opportunities, identifying top talent, mentoring and motivating Branch Managers, Account Managers and Recruiters, and will be held accountable for the overall success and profitability of their marketplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, guide and ensure the quality of hiring and staffing of the region’s personnel. Determine termination’s
when necessary.

• Establish the sales strategy and direction for the region.

• Initiate and implement training practices for operation, sales and management staff.

• Coordination, analyses and support of all sales efforts while providing sales training and motivational workshops.

• The Regional Manager may personally handle sales for selected house accounts.

• Supervision of the region’s recruiting efforts of temporary personnel through contact with a variety of recruiting
sources and help wanted advertising.

• Coordination of preparations for bids, proposals and presentations determining billing rates for customers to obtain
optimum income.

• Coordination and supervision of all region’s budgets, including expenses and variable overhead items as well as
responsibility for the profit and loss of the region.

• Advise and supervise the regions personnel functions, which include benefits, workers’ compensation, wage and

salary, fair employment practices, affirmative action and other state and federal regulations regarding
employment.

• Oversee the administrative work of the region’s offices, which includes daily, weekly and monthly reports, correspondence, and paperwork initiating payroll and invoicing.

• Monitor and ensure the utilization of Volt policies and procedures.

• Coordinate and conduct annual performance/salary reviews.

• Coordinate Management/Sales workshops and meetings.

• Implement programs for the region to maintain high level of motivation such as contests, Hall of Fame etc.

• Complete timely data entry of required data into Volt’s automated systems. Maintain consistency and integrity of data.

Local travel amongst the three metro offices will be frequent.


Required Skills

A Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of previous staffing industry experience including a multi-office management role with business development, operations and P&L responsibilities. A strong corporate sales background with a solid track record of career progression is essential. You must have hands-on experience in direct sales, identifying and developing top talent, and proven leadership capabilities within a staffing agency environment.
