Job Listing: Buyer/Planner

Volt Technical Resources has teamed up with our client in Mill Creek, WA to find a Buyer/Planner for 5-8 month contract.

This busy department is two people short and needs buyers with current SAP experience, spreadsheet knowledge, and True Team Member outlook. These positions will perform procurement, planning, and material coordination functions, ensure that material management objectives and needs are met, and supply chains succeed during material life cycles. Manage cost, work and check spreadsheets, and pitch in when- and wherever needed.

**Current SAP experience

**Adept at MS Office spreadsheets, Word and Excel

**Clear written and verbal communication

**Knowledge of the big picture of manufacturing operations

**Knowledge of supply chain management


Required Skills

3-5 years relevant experience in various aspects of procurement and planning in an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience in adhering to compliance standards.

Education and interpersonal skills:
2 year Associates degree in Business Administration or related field- or 5 years' experience in field.

Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the procurement of material to meet the requirements of the organization.
Works under close supervision in validating the authorization to procure good, plans and executes the placing of the purchase orders to the approved source of supply.
