Job Listing: Database Administrator

LSSiDATA, a division of Volt Delta Resources, leverages the National Directory Assistance Database used by VoltDelta to power the Directory Assistance services for all of the major telephone carriers in North America and Europe to provide a variety of data services and solutions to the enterprise market. We currently have an opening for a Database Administrator in our Blue Bell, PA location.

Reporting to the VP of Data Quality & Data Acquisition, the Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting the ongoing data acquisition efforts to expand the overall breadth and depth of our listing information in the Master Database as well as to add additional data content to be used by LSSiData and VoltDelta. In this role, you will define requirements to address the integration of new data content into the Master Database environment while interacting with the Business Development, Marketing & Sales to identify new areas of opportunity and product needs. You will also have relations with Engineering and Development to identify new database requirements for newly acquired data content in addition to the support of test releases and enhancements to the Master Database environment. Other responsibilities include defining, designing, and building new database environments to permit the rapid testing & qualification of new data sources with the goal being to fill Database holes and to add new fields of information to existing database records.
