A large manufacturing facility is looking for at talented and experienced Product Program Manager!

This individual:
* Provides program management expertise to direct multi-disciplined project teams and coordinates interaction with functional disciplines.
* Establishes priorities and gathers the resources necessary to staff any team.
* Directs, with personal involvement, the design of major components involved in the project.
* Directs, with personal involvement, the technology to be deployed on project; sometimes introducing new technology.
* Integrates and coordinates with user groups, business management, and marketing management.
* Projects meet some or all of the following criteria: 3 to 12 persons on the project team; 3 to 6 disciplines involved; multiple facilities within Division are involved; scope in dollars is $50,000 to $5,000,000 and is determined on budget, revenues generated, savings, etc.
Specific Responsibilities:
Position will lead a cross-functional team using the Enterprise Technology Delivery Process (ETDP) to develop and implement product programs for the company.
This includes:
* Manage program requirements to control scope and ensure quality.
* Participate in planning program budget and manage budget throughout program execution.
* Communicate roles & responsibilities of all team members, including other company units and outside suppliers.
* Develop program schedule, track progress and ensure on-schedule delivery.
* Lead program team through the ETDP process.
* Conduct risk assessments and manage risk mitigation plans.
* Facilitate team meetings, decision-making, trade-off analyses, and problem solving
* Provide work direction and coaching of team members, both technical and non technical.
* Manage change control process for new programs and existing products.
* Ensure successful integration of programs with other company factories
Required Skills
Education:
*4 year BS Degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
*PMI Certification and/or MBA is a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS
*Solid foundation in planning, organizing, and implementing engineering and technology programs.
*Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
*Knowledge of business policies and procedures, ideally including the policies and procedures of corporate company.
*Possess good problem solving skills and to think in process terms.
*Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
*Minimum 5 years experience in product development a must.
*Experience managing large groups of resources and budgets across divisions or units.
*Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience.
*Demonstrated abilities in project management including prioritization & meeting deadlines.
DESIRED SKILLS
*Possess strong negotiation, change management and leadership skills. *Ability to self-direct work activities with little or no supervision.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
*Farm background or previous work experience in the agricultural industry. *Hands-on experience with a phase gate product development process. *Experience with electronic manufacturing.
