Job Listing: Part-Time Accountant
Volt Services Group is currently recruiting for a part time temporary accountant to work for a manufacturing company in Eagan. Responsibilities:
1. Sales Invoicing: Download daily reports, Calculate freight, charges, Release invoices for printing, Data entry of warranty credits, Invoice balancing and printing and Filing.
2. Cash Management: Data entry to allocate cash and credit card payments, Monthly bank deposit and Monthly petty cash balancing.
3. Payroll Processing: Process and review of weekly payroll, Generate weekly payroll reports, Create weekly journal entries, Generate monthly attendance reports and Review quarterly tax filings.
4. Monthly Projects: Bank Reconciliation (4 accounts), Account Reconciliation (10 accounts), Prepare and enter month-end journal entries, Prepare inter-company reports and Balance and print customer statements.
5. Capital Projects / Fixed Assets Management: Capital project tracking, Produce various ad-hoc reports and Fixed Asset management .
6. Accounts Payable - (Backup): Matching invoice paperwork, coding, data entry, Coding and data entry of parts and labor refunds, debit memos and Weekly preparation of freight bills for payment.

Required Skills
*1-2 years accounting in a manufacturing company
*3-5 years total experience in all facets of accounting up to journal entries
*4-year accounting degree
*Extensive working knowledge of sales and use tax application and capital project management
*Extensive working knowledge of MS Office software
*Ability to quickly learn intensive software applications
*Available up to 20 hours a week through December
