Receiving :
Review receiving paperwork from receivers
Enter inventory receipts into JDE
Run receiving verification reports
Report Receiving Metrics
Inventory control:
Investigate each inventory issue. Find cause of any discrepancy. Recommend corrective action to bring inventory back in line. Execute corrective action. This can be from an NCC (Need cycle Count), NS (Need Stock), or other reported issues from operations, sales, product management, or purchasing
Manage/Lead routine cycle counts.
Aid in development of Cycle Count process including the number and frequency of items/locations counted.
Perform Cycle counts each day following the cycle count plan. Work with other teams as required to complete this objective
Execute all IMM (internal material movements)
Ship confirm :
Backup to Ship confirmation
Inventory :
Lead periodic full warehouse inventory. This usually occurs 2 times per year, in July and at year end.
Define team requirements, print cycle count, inform HR of meals needed for inventory team, upload the information in the system.
Support :
The inventory control manager is here to support and control the receiving and shipping, he always need to be present and available.
Warehouse organization
The Inventory control manager is the person who has one global overview on the inventory. The person organizes the inventory based on the ABC turn in units. The person needs to offer solutions and continuous improvement how to manage the inventory. On a monthly basis some change need to be made due to the turn over of the product, based on ABC, turnover, weight, volume.
A well organize inventory is going to save time to the picker.
Operational improvement:
Observe and recommend improvements to can increase inventory accuracy. These include but not limited to:
Picking process
Packing process
Shipping
Receiving
Location strategy
Returned Good:
Assist in the stock disposition of return goods to insure inventory accuracy

Required Skills
2-4 years warehouse experience
1 year inventory management experience
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
MRP/ERP understating desirable
Must be able to pass a drug screen and drug
