Job Listing: Associate Technical Recruiter

The Associate Technical Recruiter is responsible for position matching through in-depth analysis of job skills and qualifications to determine which candidates to source, interview and hire. The incumbent works closely with other individuals on the Recruiting Team to support them in their efforts to fill job orders, increase existing business, bring in new customers and applicants, and keep gross margins at highest level possible.

•Source qualified candidates in all technical and engineering job classifications.
•Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate, identify and summarize relevant experience and hard and soft skills to make hiring determination as a Volt employee. Evaluate technical skills and abilities in relation to job requirements.
•Be responsible for using discretion to determine which candidate is most qualified to recommend to Volt’s customers.
•Successfully oversee the order filling process from beginning to end. This may include: resume and cover letter submittals, coordination of interview time with customers and field employee; timely follow-up on submittals and interviews and coordination of any company-specific screening and orientation.
•Represent Volt to our customers and candidates and act as a liaison between Volt and the customer to troubleshoot and problem solve any customer or candidate related issues and inquiries.
•Handle some employee related issues with the help of Branch Manager, such as coaching, counseling and making determinations to end employees’ assignments and/or terminate their employment with Volt.
•Engage in good public relations, be responsive and of service in coordination with Sales Staff.
•Use advanced features of databases to generate daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for various reasons such as day-to-day recruiting/turnover management; and identifying business trends.
•Follow up regularly with candidates and customers to maintain relationships to build knowledge of needs and opportunities.
•Generate new business leads for Sales to follow up.
•Actively market qualified field employees to new and existing customers.



Required Skills

•2 years experience in a customer service environment is required.
•Sourcing or Recruiting experience is preferred.

Education:
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in comparable field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
