Job Listing: Manufacturing Engineer

Volt Technical Resources is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, coordinate and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process of moderate scope. Major duties/responsibilities include:

1. Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.

2. Provide support and troubleshooting for current operations.

3. Investigate, gather, and analyze data and implement solution.

4. Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of moderate scope.

5. Applies electronic tools across a broad range of applications, including e-builds, modeling and simulations.

6. Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing through the production system.

7. Improve material flow and material presentation.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology discipline or equivalent experience.

2. Weld tooling and fixture design experience.

3. Must have MIG welding experience.

4. Must be proficient with Pro Engineer.

5. Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.

6. Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
