Job Listing: SQL Server DBA

Volt Technical Resources is currently looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator for our client in Fenton, MO.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Management, Developers, Project Managers, Technical Staff and end-users to ensure successful project implementation, deliverables, growth and scalability. Provide consulting expertise in performance analysis and capacity planning for high availability systems. Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems involving databases, operating systems and applications. Develop and implement procedures, policies, standards and best practices to support the operation of database systems.

Required Skills

Must have the experience and skills listed below:

Experience implementing high availability solutions with SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
Database design, modeling, installation, performance tuning, clustering, security, replication, database mirroring, TSQL and SSIS.
Ability to learn and analyze, adaptability & resourcefulness, professional and technical knowledge, quality-of-service orientation, team orientation.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
