The world's leading Aerospace company has a long-term contract position available for a Project Management Specialist.
JOB DUTIES:
The Project Management Specialist:
Performs assigned project tasks and deliverables that meet identified requirements by application of or in accordance with accepted Project Management principles (i.e. Project Management Body of Knowledge - PMBOK).
Gathers, compiles and reports information to designated parties regarding assigned project deliverables.
Provides concise project status, progress and change information from the assigned elements to the Project Team.
Effectively communicates the perspectives of the Project Team concerning any work-arounds, recovery plans, work scope changes, etc.

This is an estimated one-year contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Atlanta, GA. Required Skills for this Project Management Specialist position include the following:
Bachelor's degree and typically six (6) or more years of related work experience, OR a Master's degree and typically four (4) or more years of related work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be skilled and experienced in using Industry Standard, PMI tools and techniques as outlined in the PMBOK
