Job Description: A Senior Graphic Designer creates unique interactive touch-screen interfaces. The successful candidate will have a professional grounding in graphic design, user experience design, information architecture and will have an understanding and interest in current trends in digital interface usability, as well as consumer decision-making psychology and methodologies (or at least a curiosity - there are lots of great books on this!)
You should have a keen, creative eye for the aesthetic, combined with a practical problem-solving ability. You should feel comfortable working creatively within the confines of a detailed branding specification document. New ideas should excite you, and a blank whiteboard should not scare you. But first and foremost, we are looking for individuals with ambitious professional goals and the talent to realize them.
This is a contract position through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Required Skills
Required Skills for this Senior Graphic Designer includes the following:
***5+ years of Photoshop experience - must be very proficient and work with it on a daily basis***
Ability to conceive and pitch innovative interface design solutions
Take interactive design projects from wireframe to production
Exceed client expectations with your designs and the strategic rationales behind them
Promote pro-customer usability standards through your work
Stay organized and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-changing work environment
***Create clean and crisp modern looking environments***
***Online portfolio link (with interactive samples) is required when submitting your resume***
Kiosk experience or experience with Microsoft Surface is a plus!
