The Simulation Team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to perform software design, coding, testing and analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project as it relates to simulators for the verification and validation of embedded systems. In this position, you will be responsible for producing high quality simulation software company products.

Required Skills

Skills and Experience (Required):

3+ Years with significant software development experience using LabVIEW, C#, and C++ languages;
3+ years working in the software development industry;
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis/Design;
Knowledge of Visual Basic scripting;
Experience with development in the Windows environment;
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005;
Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW;
Must have a good understanding of electronic hardware (reading schematics and component data sheets);
Excellent communication skills - must interface successfully with engineers and personnel of other disciplines;
Applies knowledge of software development technology to develop creative applications for our products;
Conducts analysis of software requirements; then develops and implements efficient software solutions to satisfy those requirements; and
Applies software processes, including compilation of required design documentation.

Skills and Experience (Desired):

A farm background or work in the Agriculture industry (highly desired).
Experience with SAE J1939 Controller Area Network (CAN) standards.
Experience with Global Positioning Systems.
Knowledge of human-in-the-loop simulation.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Advanced Degree preferred.
