Job Listing: DIRECTOR OF QUALITY ASSURANCE OPERATIONS

Our client is a globally successful leader in supplying cutting-edge drug delivery systems. They recognize that this expansion depends upon their ability to ensure that all of their products continue to meet and exceed the highest possible standards.
As a result, the company is looking for an exceptional Director of Quality Assurance Operations. The Director will be the key point person for ensuring the successful integration of new and innovative products, thereby sustaining growth into the future.

POSITIONS ARE LOCATED IN THE MIDWEST AND THE COMPANY IS PROVIDING A GENEROUS RELOCATION PACKAGE TO THE CHOSEN CANDIDATE.

Job Purpose:
In this role, the person selected will direct all of the non-conformance report stages as well as NCR's prior to batch release, change control, process and cleaning validation. The Director will also lead efforts to continuously train and provide development /improvement/ growth opportunities for all Quality Assurance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the strategic business needs and objectives of how quality impacts the overall business goals.
- Utilizing appropriate tools to meet current and advancing Current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
- Managing the FDA inspection process.


Required Skills

* BS in Chemistry, Biology, or another Life Sciences degree.
* Direct experience hosting and leading in the preparation, management, and follow-up for FDA inspections
* 10+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control pharmaceutical operational role.
* 5+ years of management experience leading Pharmaceutical QA departments.
* 1+ years of experience in a large Pharmaceutical environment.
* ASQ or CQE certification.
* Experience in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical tablets, creams or lotions is required.
