Job Listing: Electrical/Computer Engineer
One of Volt's respected customers is seeking a skilled engineer to replicate (assemble) and upgrade an existing Functional Test station for automated testing of feature board (embedded) component of Wireless Process Control devices. The job also includes documenting existing VB6 Functional Test software and porting it to C# with a view towards long term upgradeability and maintenance of evolving devices.
Required Skills
Qualified candidates have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Candidates need a minimum of 2 years experience in designing/developing/maintaining hardware and software for board-level Functional Test Station in a manufacturing environment. Also, familiarity with Digital Multi-Meter (DMM), Digital Volt Meter (DVM), Signal Analyzer, Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems, etc is expected but not required. Experience with Wireless RF based technology is preferred. This person must have good people skills, pay strong attention to detail, able to communicate clearly and is a self starter.
Computer skills needed include VB6, LabView and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
