Job Listing: Senior Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading Government Integrator is seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent.

On a day to day basis, a candidate will be responsible for conducting moderate to complex procurement actions in support of the division's programs and in accordance with the requirements of our client's prime contracts, FAR, DFARS, company policies and CPSR requirements.

To be qua lied, a candidate should be able to analyze purchase requisitions; initiate RFQs/RFPs; evaluate bids and make recommendations; identify and select vendors; negotiate terms and conditions; analyze pricing of material or services; issue/manage subsequent purchase orders, blanket orders or subcontracts utilizing Cost Point. Individual must know requirements for CPSR file documentation to include price/cost analysis, memorandums of negotiation.

Minimum requirements: 8-12 years experience in procurement/Subcontracts. Strong interpersonal skills for building solid customer relationships.
Must be proficient in MS Excel/Word experience in Cost Point and CPSR compliant.
