Job Listing: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P)

Aerotek Aviation has immediate openings for A&P Mechanics in Roswell, NM. Our client is a leading provider of air medical services throughout the United States. The company operates 100 aircraft nationally from 73 bases in 18 states.

This position will primarily maintain a C-414 aircraft but will also assist in Helicopter maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs all maintenance in accordance with applicable regulatory, manufacturer’s and company regulations, policies and procedures.
2. Maintain aircraft to the highest standards possible.
3. Maintain ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
4. Coordinates with Field Maintenance Supervisors and Logistics to ensure timely acquisition of parts, tooling and equipment.
5. Schedule maintenance in an efficient and organized manner which maximizes aircraft availability.
6. Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FARs, manufacturer’s and company policies and procedures.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) as prescribed by FAR 65.
2. Applicant must meet recent experience requirement of FAR 65.83.
3. High School graduate or equivalent.
4. 5 years aviation maintenance experience.
5. 2 years maintenance experience on same class and category aircraft (Piston)
6. Desire and ability to work as a team with Flight and Medical crews.
7. Ability to work overtime hours as needed, including days, nights, and weekends to complete maintenance.
8. Must be available for on call duty.
