Job Title: RF Engineer
Description: An engineering company in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an RF Engineer. The RF Engineer will use his/her highly specialized knowledge in RF design, integration, and assembly to develop unique systems that will support mission critical needs for NASA, the research and development activities of DoD, and the Intelligence Community in communications, SIGINT, EW and MASINT systems. Levels of conceptualization, design, integration, and test detail range from entire systems to individual functional blocks and devices at the discrete component level.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND HANDS ON EXPERIENCE:
· Circuit-level RF design and analysis
· Antenna and electromagnetic structure design
· Physical and statistical propagation modeling
· Complex modulation development and implementation (incl. spread-spectrum)
· RFI suppression and anti-jam techniques
· LPI signal detection
· Wireless ranging and RADAR
· Filter design
· Inter-modulation suppression
· Active/adaptive signal cancellation, blanking techniques
· Low-noise (LNA, oscillator phase noise) design
· Anechoic chamber measurements
· Multi-modulation, swept modulation waveforms and modulation/demodulation
· Embedded signal processing techniques
Requirements:
Qualified candidate will have a minimum of a BSEE and will have eight or more years of experience in communications and systems engineering, algorithm development, and in the use of simulation and analysis tools. A MSEE is highly desired.
Candidate will be a U.S. citizens with at least a secret level clearance. Ability to travel 25% of the time. The engineering company offers competitive salary and benefits.
