Job Listing: Senior Java Developer

TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Java Developer for a 6/12 month contract-to-hire position in Orlando, FL.

The position requires working under the direction of the development team in performing requirements analysis, design, development, integration and testing of OOS components, products, and services.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. The ideal candidate will have between 5-15 years of experience as a software engineer and experience working in a distributed environment (Unix/Linux and Windows). They need a thorough knowledge of coding with Java with strong Object Oriented development. A knowledge of HLA/DIS is also required. The ideal candidate must possess superior communication skills, a positive attitude and a team spirit needed to succeed in a team environment.

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing and maintaining computer constructive or virtual simulations. You MUST have a current security clearance or be able to obtain one.
