Job Listing: Financial Analyst

TEKsystems in Tulsa, OK is searching for an entry-level Financial Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity.

- As a member of the Portfolio Management team, work within the IT organization to manage development requests through the IT work intake process
- Coordinate with project managers, business relationship managers, business analysts and the solutions delivery team to understand level of effort and IT capacity to determine request delivery dates
- Develop Demand-supply models in Excel spreadsheets and manage the data accuracy
- Identify resource conflicts that may impact delivery of IT requests
- Midlevel Financial Analyst to produce reports and to provide relevant data for budgeting decisions
- Support PMO manager in streamlining manual processes around time entry, timesheets approvals and validating project data with invoice data
- Analyze IT portfolio mix to ensure that IT resources are aligned with DTAG priorities
- Evaluate project post-implementation results to determine actual realized value out of PMO tools
- Provide IT portfolio reports for executive review to gauge the overall health and profile of IT work
- Collect and document requirements for functionality improvements of the portfolio management tool

- Project management experience a plus
- Have demonstrated ability to work in matrixed organizations
- Have strong leadership skills, the ability to multitask within a dynamic and fluid work environment
- Be customer service oriented
- Have advanced MS Excel and analytical skills
- Be detail oriented, a quick study, and self-motivated
- Be able to work independently, in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Candidates must have the ability to work within team structures and across functional teams
- Financial background a plus
- Experience creating budgeting/projection spreadsheets is required
