Job Listing: Senior Internal Auditor

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for performing operational and financial audits throughout the Company, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and offering suggestions for improvement in reports to management.

The Senior Auditor will:
-Assist the Corporate Audit Manager to define scope and objectives for audits and projects
-Develop a detailed understanding of the activity under audit, including risks and controls
-Perform tests and analyses, gather audit evidence, evaluate results, and develop conclusions about the adequacy of internal controls.
-Discuss results of audit tests and conclusions with management.
-Maintain understanding of audit budget
-Researches best practices and professional trends to improve audit core competencies
-Coach and train staff assisting with audits

Requirements
-Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
-Two or more years full time work experience in auditing, accounting, or general business
-Professional certification in internal auditing (CIA, CISA), general accounting (CPA) or fraud examination (CFE)

Required Skills for Senior Internal Auditor Job:

  • 2-5 YEARS CORPORATE AUDIT EXPERIENCE
  • WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL APPROXIMATELY 10-15% OF THE TIME
  • CIA OR CPA PREFERRED
  • PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE
