Job Listing: Corporate Trust/Escrow Administrator

My client’s parent company provides legal and financial services for many of the world’s largest companies, law firms and financial institutions. They offer clients an integrated, comprehensive portfolio of services that includes corporate compliance and governance services, entity management services, litigation and matter management services, public record document and retrieval services, uniform commercial code services, domain management services, motor vehicle titling services, and registered agent services.

They have set up a Trust Company that administers escrow transactions. Types of transactions include:

Mergers and Acquisitions, 1031 tax deferred deposits, subscription deposits, litigation settlements, reorganizations and liquidations, good faith deposits, defeasance deposits, environmental remediation, source codes, safekeeping of intellectual and physical property etc….

They are looking to develop business in the above markets. Ideally, a lawyer or someone who works in M&A that can use their existing relationships to network and find the business.


Job Summary:
The sales executive will lead all aspects of the sales effort and serve as leader for the ongoing development and management of major relationships within the defined geographic territory. This role requires a dynamic and successful sales professional with a proven track record in initiating and closing deals in a corporate trust, escrow, or related capital markets environment. Responsibilities include revenue generation, retention, and growth; senior level client relationship development; competitive positioning; needs assessments; and proposal development. Sales executive will be relied upon to generate ideas on sourcing new transaction opportunities and expanding our product base offering and market penetration. Extensive sales contacts within both the legal and investment banking communities are a must.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed business development objectives.

Manage a structured sales process: qualify and prioritize prospects, target roles and establish relationship with them, identify needs, pain points & core value proposition, handle objections, negotiate and close.

Plan and implement a targeted sales campaign in key markets for corporate escrows.

Coordinate resources in pre- and post-sales activities.

The Ideal Candidate will offer us:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training

Seven + years of business-to-business selling and prospecting experience in the corporate trust or financial services industry through law firms and other intermediaries.

Work experience in corporate trust and escrow sales.

Proven track record of exceptional achievement and success in customer acquisition required.

Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong financial acumen

Strong analytic, leadership, and influencing skills

Proficient in the use of personal computers and the Microsoft Office suite of software.
