ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
¿ Understanding the key features and benefits of the products and services of the Wealth Management department and being capable of effectively articulating these features and benefits.
¿ Understanding the financial profile of prospects that qualify for the products and services of wealth management.
¿ Meeting new clients that would benefit from the products and services of wealth management through prospecting activities. Prospecting activities include:
Educating assigned referral sources (internal and/or external) to identify qualified prospects
Instilling confidence within the referral source such that the referral source will introduce prospects to the sales officer.
¿ Being expert at profiling & assessing the financial needs of affluent client prospects and proposing appropriate recommendations and solutions
¿ Assembling and coordinating the internal team (relationship/portfolio manager, etc.) that will have the highest likelihood of turning the qualified prospect into a client.
¿ Assembling presentation materials or coordinating the production of presentation materials.
¿ Being a good partner with all other team members within the organization, this includes keeping all partners involved with a particular prospect, informed of the status of sale.
¿ Business development officers are expected to be helpful and to serve as the sales resource to relationship managers and other partners whether or not they are involved in the specific sales opportunity.
¿ Continuously stay abreast of the most current business trends and industry information about Wealth Management products and services.
¿ Attending and actively participating in any and all meetings.
¿ Accurately complete all required client documentation, customer profiling, management reports or any other reports required by the Market Manager.
¿ Acquire, retain, expand new and existing private banking relationships
¿ Proactively contacting clients and prospects
¿ Maximize depth and profitability on client relationships
¿ Work closely with partners in middle market, Private Client Services and other business lines
¿ Understand and identify credit and investment needs of high net worth clients and offer customized solutions
¿ Enhance client relationships leveraging expertise of internal colleagues including institutional sales person, wealth manager, financial planner, portfolio manager, Trust relationship manager
QUALIFICATIONS:

¿ Experience managing high net worth clients
¿ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
¿ Excellent listening skills
¿ Strong presentation, planning and follow-up
¿ Effective team player and ability to delegate
¿ Bachelors degree or Equivalent
¿ Securities License 6 & 63
¿ Insurance PA License
¿ 3 years consumer credit experience
¿ Three to five years sales experience
¿ Three to five years portfolio management experience
¿ Supervisory experience of junior associate
