Job Listing: Lead Developer/Architect

Seeking an expert .NET Developer/ Architect for a full time permanent position in Pearl River, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

-Translates the client's business requirements into systems design.
-Challenges business design when appropriate.
-Offers creative alternatives regarding business design.
-Provides mentoring on best practices and processes.
-Supervise, direct and guide a team of software developers and testers.
-Challenge the team to develop innovative workflows and technologies to increase speed, reliability and quality of production.
-Educates and ensures that team follows processes.
-Defines and assesses completeness of work.
-Ensures projects are completed on time and according to organizational quality standards.
-Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs.
-Will be responsible to build development platform for the entire organizations by creating detailed documentation of coding standards and framework.
-Set a positive example and lead by demonstrating a strong work ethic.


Core competencies:

-Extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) and proficiency in solution development, deployment and support Experience developing enterprise level applications.
-Work with Architectural team to design systems.
-Lead a team of 3+ developers, assigning tasks, coding and implement the design.
-Has proven experience in Proofs of Concept, Solution performance engineering.
-Has strong problem solving skills and the ability and desire to learn new technologies rapidly
-Knowledge of emerging technologies and products
-Work in deadline driven environment, and respond creatively to pressure
-Has the interpersonal skills to lead other team members and facilitate innovative thinking to solve technology issues
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment.

Technology Requirements:

-Expert knowledge of: C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Framework, XML and XSL Expert knowledge of: Web Services and AJAX, SQL Server 2000/2005 Competent knowledge of: IIS Administration, Web Farms Setup and Deployment
-Competent knowledge of Source Control System (VSS), HTML, CSS, DHTML and JavaScript Working knowledge of Service-based Architecture patterns and such as WPF, WCF
-Nice to have Sybase IQ and Data Warehouse experience.
-Nice to have experience with .Net Application Framework, such as Mere Mortals.NET, StrataFrame.Net
