Job Listing: Telecommunications Analyst

TEKsystems is actively seeking a Telecommunications Analyst for a client located in Horsham PA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a telecom analyst with experience trouble shooting and supporting hand held wireless devices such as blackberry’s, pda’s, and cell phones (SMART phones). This person will be responsible for configuration, moves, adds, and changes (connecting and disconnecting phones), recommending hardware and analyzing payment plans, billing.

There are approx. 13,000 devices in the field. Three could be growth in to a supervisor role from this position. Customer service skills are important.

The IT manager is available next week for personal interviews. Someone with 1+ years experience (if sharp) would be a good candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree and / or 3 years work experience in IT Management with telecommunications or accounts payable exposure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and have strong leadership skills.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficient in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Access, MS Project.
Experience with CPE – phone systems / network configuration, routers, switches.
Experience with Local / Long Distance, wireless and VOIP accounts.
Datacom knowledge– VPN, MPLS, DIA, Private Line – Access types: DS3, T-1, DSL, satellite, etc
