Job Listing: Mechanical Department Director

Aerotek is currently seeking a Mechanical Department Director for a large MEP Firm that specializes in the design of healthcare, telecommunications space, mission critical space, commercial interiors, government and educational facilities.

Job Description/Daily Tasks:

1. Responsible for managing a team of engineers, designers and project managers in the technical production of the electrical design department.

2. Director will work with other Dept. Director as well as Studio Director to ensure projects are completed and clients are satisfied.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Professional Engineering license (PE License)
3. 7-15 years of experience with lighting design and power distribution.
4. Experience leading a team and managing projects
5. Must be proficient with AutoCAD
6. Must have solid work history and good communication skills
