Job Listing: Sr. Project Manager/PM Sr. Director

We are looking for a motivated and organized project manager. A PMP is preferred but is not a "must-have".

The position is for a major client on Long Island that is expanding and currently in need of another PM to take on additional projects. The minimum skill required are as follows:


EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:
- 5-10 years business experience in a related profession
- Experience with use cases, business modeling techniques and UML
- Experience with requirements gathering and management
- Experience with change management
- Experience working collaboratively with business owners, subject matter experts, and Software engineering teams during the requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation phases
- Experience working with software engineering teams
- Excellent use of MS Suite of Products, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, MS Project
- Knowledge of formal process models (ISO, RUP, CMMI, etc.)
- Experience in process engineering would be preferred

The job would only entail 25% travel and employee would spend majority of work time in house.
