Job Listing: Eletrical Engineer

Summary: This position is responsible for researching, developing, designing and testing electrical circuits, equipment and systems.

Essential Functions of the Job:
-Review standards, specifications, engineering drawings, designs and other documentation to assess design approach.
-Design analog, digital, power supply and processor circuits as well as developing software.
-Perform or support the testing involving the electrical integration of complex electrical assemblies.
-Monitor regulatory testing (UL, Bellcore, CE, NEBS, etc.)
-Establish test plans and guide technicians in the collection of test data assuring conformance to contract requirements.
-Plan and track electrical prototype development project progress and schedules.
-Review customer technical requirements. Recommend solutions beneficial to the customer.
-Perform reliability calculations.
-Participate in electrical and interdepartmental design reviews.
-Perform engineering tasks using the following software: Labview, Visual Basic, Orcad Schematic Capture, Pspice Circuit Simulation.
-Assist in reviewing internal and external product returns to identify design or manufacturing issues and improvements.
-Work with contract manufacturers for prototype developments and manufacturing processes.
-Perform all other duties as assigned.

Recommended Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum two years related experience.
