Our client, a premier commercial heating company, located in Northvale, NJ is seeking a Recruiter/HR rep.
SUMMARY:
The Recruiting Coordinator handles all duties associated with the recruiting process. Including working with hiring manager to create and revise job descriptions; sourcing candidates; placing jobs with recruiting agencies, online, or in newspapers; reviewing resumes; screening and interviewing; salary negotiation; creating offer letters; and working with managers to
create training and onboarding schedules. This position will also handle basic benefit administration.
2 YEARS OF FULL LIFE CYCLE RECRUITING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
(Other duties may be assigned.)
1. Perform full cycle recruiting.
2. Perform background checks and arrange drug screenings for all incoming personnel.
3. Collects, updates, and compiles information for government reports, i.e. EEOC, Department of labor, Vet’s 100, etc.
4. Monitor the new hire Personnel Action Notices to Payroll and the Departments and ensure accuracy of the HR database
5. Monitor and update all information into the HR database
6. Assists/ Directs any HR projects/initiatives as needed.
7. Assists/Directs resources for any company sponsored functions
8. Attends seminars as needed to keep up with current HR laws and regulations
9. Communicates policies and procedures to employees; recommends changes as necessary
10. Participates in Salary/Benefit Surveys as needed to keep company competitive
11. Collect all new hire information and maintains Benefits folder for each employee
12. Manage company's Safety Incentive Program
13. In collaboration with the HR Manager, administer benefit plans including 401(k), medical, life, dental, short term disability, long
term disability, profit sharing, etc.
14. Works in conjunction with the HR Manager on all benefit plan renewals
15. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Rate: $45,000 to $52,000 per Year
