We are currently seeking a pipeline safety
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)
Conducts aspects of the integrity management program including:
-High consequence area identification
-Threat & risk assessment as well as preventive and mitigation measures
-Performance measurement & quality assurance, and reporting.
-Awareness of scientific, technical and regulatory developments with integrity management
-Ability to provide technical input and help coordinate the development, implementation, planning and on-going maintenance associated with the integrity management program.
-Act as a liaison between operations and pipeline safety agencies to provide information, answer questions, and facilitate issue resolution.
-Coordinate Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) inspections.
-Coordinates internal pipeline safety audits (travel to company locations for audits and other activities requires up to 25 percent of time).
-Review strength test records, determines and documents maximum allowable operating pressures (MAOP).
-Conduct population proximity and location analysis to determine class location and high consequence areas.
-Complete class location studies to determine appropriate action related to location changes.
-Provide specific training related to pipeline safety compliance.
-Participate in company emergency response management team during any pipeline emergency.
-Reviews and reports incidents and safety-related conditions to PHMSA. Completes annual reporting to PHMSA.
Position Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering and engineering intern (EI)/engineer-in-training (EIT).
-Knowledge of engineering principles and practices for analysis (pipeline/compression theory).
-Proficient computer skills with various software applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and aptitude necessary to operate software related to work requirements.
-Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, and ability to prepare clear, concise and complete written reports.
-Travel and work outside standard work hours as required.
-Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote locations.

Rate: $51,900 to $93,100 per Year
