Job Listing: Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst

TEKsystems is looking for a Business Intelligence developer with data warehousing experience to create strategic and analytical reporting tools.
The business purpose of the Developer position is Strategic and Analytical Reporting. The Business Intelligence department is very high profile within the organization.

Qualified candidates should posses the following:
At least 3 years of experience in development and delivery of business intelligence solutions.
Experience with SQL Server 2005, SQL, MDX, and VB Script.
An established record of software development and delivery.
Background in data warehousing and OLAP modeling and knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint Portal tools.
Lead Developer experience is a plus.


Responsibilities include the development of Business Intelligence solutions using MS SQL Server 2005, SQL, MDX, VB Script; development of data warehousing, OLAP and reporting solutions; translating business requirements and functional specifications into technical designs and solutions; managing and ensuring the delivery of solutions; engaging in continuing communication with key business stakeholders and other members of the business intelligence team; working within a global team to ensure all business regions are fully integrated; producing detailed technical documentation; working with industry standard development methodologies; identifying areas for improvement as well as recommending corrective actions; mentoring and coaching other developers; contribute to business intelligence technical architecture.
