Our client is looking for a SharePoint Admin that needs to be strong in two of the three functional areas – Admin and Systems. The Admin portion is the customer-facing portion and outward-facing systems and the Systems portion is the internal server farm, taking care of it, optimizing – all the backend things that customers don't see.
This person must be an experienced team member of the business applications group, focusing on supporting the development, maintenance, and support activities in keeping systems stable and functional in addition to increasing functionality for the user community.
Essential Functions:
- This position's primary responsibility will be as our SharePoint Enterprise(MOSS 2007) Technical Development and Administration accountable for coordinating overall design, development and maintenance/administration of multiple sites.
- Supports business applications through resolving trouble with applications, facilitating changes to applications through migrations, and supports other IT organizations in providing support to the business community.
- Serves as a contributor and member to project teams in the applications area.
- Completes administration tasks, such as status reporting and documentation.
- Researches problems to determine the cause of problems or define problems with assistance.
- Recognizes problems as they are/or about to occur and address.
- Collaboration with internal customers.
Job Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
This person must possess excellent interpersonal and analysis skills. Must be able to work independently as well as on teams. Must be self motivated; people oriented, and demonstrate good oral and written communications skills. Incumbent must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize/re-prioritize workloads. They also must be able to work with other IT co-workers and/or end users without supervision. Working knowledge of systems development methodologies as well as provide Tier 2/3 support.
Education or Formal Training:
This person will have a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, OR equivalent experience and training. Incumbent must have advanced experience and training in both programming and database programming techniques.
Experience:
Incumbent will have 5-8 year’s related experience as a degreed professional OR, equivalent experience and training. Incumbent should have advanced (requiring limited assistance) skills in programming and database programming.
They also will need to have experience in a majority of the following technologies:
-MOSS 2007
-SharePoint Designer 2007
-Net 2.0
-C#
-HTML
