Overview- Site Safety Manager

As hands-on builders, they have the technical expertise needed to design smart, cost-effective building solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage new hire Safety Orientation Program.
- Perform daily job site safety inspections.
- Record and manage all Site safety documentation.
- Participate in Claims Management Process.
- Provide weekly written reports.
- Facilitate company’s return to work program with employees, medical professionals, and project personal.
- Assist and or facilitate required weekly tailgate safety meetings.
- Provides job specific safety training as needed.
- Manage Job Hazard Analysis Program.
- Manage Safety Incentive Program.
- Manage and coordinate substance abuse testing.
- Participate in fact finding, Root Cause Analysis for injury/incident investigations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and or 3-5 related comparable construction safety experience.
- Good computer skills, valid California Drivers License, self-starter, and positive attitude.
- Professional demeanor.
- Technical as well as practical knowledge of basic construction safety laws, i.e., OSHA, Hazmat, crane safety, and excavation safety.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to both tradesmen and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- OSHA 10 or 30 hr. preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
