Job Listing: Project Manager

We have a local prominent client in the banking industry looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in managing projects with an infrastructure and applications focus. The client is looking for someone that has extensive experience driving and delivering process and quality from a project management standpoint. The position will entail running infrastructure projects with overlap in the applications space with specific responsibilities over software testing. This position will include writing project plans in MS Project, resource management responsibilities, process charters, process reviews, documentation and overall process and project management. This team is in the process of formalizing their entire project life-cycle and need a project manager with a strong process background to help facilitate consistency.

Duties:

- Assist Project Managers with Project Charters to improve scope control and stakeholder management
- Assist Project Managers by facilitating requirement reviews
- Assist Project Managers with test case development and requirements traceability
- Assist Project Managers with testing
- Provide Project Management services to Host Services, Technical Services and the Service Desk on Infrastructure projects such as network upgrades and data center builds
- Provide resource coordination and communication between Host Services, Technical Services, Service Desk, Systems Integration and Business Support

Required Skills:

- At least five years of Project Management experience
- Experience with process orientation using industry standards such as CMM, PMBOK, ITIL or Six Sigma
- Advanced skills in MS Project constructing project schedules
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills:

- PMP Certification
- Financial or Banking industry background
