Job Listing: Sr. Data Modeler

TEKsystems' client, a leading research organization, has an opportunity available for a Sr. Data Modeler.

Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.

The primary work assignment would be to provide on-site support to DOD customer with reach back to the client for data modeling and software development for projects serving the military C2 community.

Requirements

-5+ years experience in the military Command and Control (C2) domain and associated representational standards, methodologies, and tools to specify, develop, and facilitate the implementation of information exchange standards and architectures.
-Ideal candidate should be an Officer that has a Computer Sciences degree and that has worked in the C2 (Command and Control) arena.
-Needs experience with the C2 domain to understand the Acronyms, Politics, and Data Exchange.
-Needs be comfortable interacting with high level military personal. Personal and communication skills are a must.
-Have a understanding of the following technologies: (XML, GML, KML, and other W3C markup language standards and the current tools of the trade, familiar with semantic web, UML, and web service technology, including Java, .Net, OWL, RDF and other tools and standards for a SOA environment.)
-Should be able to discuss technical concepts and understand/read basic code and how it interacts with the program.
-Needs to able to determine how the DOD should share information; defining terms, data exchange, querying information, access to the system.

Pluses: Experience with UCORE, NIEM, GJXDM, or (U) LEXS, enterprise application integration (EAI) technologies, databases, portals and collaboration technologies.
