Description:
- This Senior Analyst/Developer will work as a key member of the Enterprise Sales Reporting Team that will blend analytical, technical, developer, and technical team lead responsibilities. In a hands on role, this individual is responsible and accountable for analyzing business reporting requirements documents, determining and designing technical options and solutions, and technical team leadership.
- As a Senior team member this individual will assign tasks, guidance to technical team members as assigned and report activity progress to Management and ensure that there is implementation of the final resolution both on time and within budget.
- The role will design and develop complex stored procedures and creating data extract process using DTS/SSIS. and develop complex Crystal 10\XI - Business Object XI R2 and migrating Actuate Reporting objects into Crystal XI.
- Provides leadership and technical knowledge to technical team; assigns tasks to the technical team
- Creates scripts required to facilitate data management, identifying and ensuring automation of data maintenance processes whenever possible.
- Displays a strong understanding of the feeds supplying data to the CDW environment, their interactions, the impact of potential modifications to those feeds, and has ability to articulate those issues to both technical and business users. Ensures that data verification and validation processes are a part of any new feeds/implementations
- Assists with testing of procedure/report releases to ensure data integrity within Consolidated Data Warehouse. Plans, develops, executes and validates test plans for data testing. Ensures deliverables work in production according to specifications.
- Responsible for updating and or documenting processes and procedures as modified/created.
