Job Listing: PHP MySQL Developer

Our client is looking for a PHP developer with at least 3 years of professional experience for a contract position. Our client will even allow the candidate to work remotely as well.

They are looking for someone that has experience in working with PHP 5, including object-oriented development as well as procedural development. Procedural programmers without a strong object-oriented background will be considered.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

Experience and understanding in hooking to MySQL 5 through PHP.

Experience in building database-driven web sites a must.

Understanding of PHP MVC development frameworks a plus but not required (Zend Framework, CakePHP, Symfony, etc).

Strong client-side development skills preferred including XHTML, Javascript and CSS.

Experience with Javascript development frameworks a plus Prototype / Scriptaculous, JQuery, etc)

Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments, with a solid understanding of Apache web server.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as advanced trouble-shooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.

Experience with PHPEd IDE by NuSphere a plus.

Ability to work with a team, as well as independently required.
