Job Listing: Associate Medical Underwriter

Our client, a global leader in Insurance, Asset Management and Financial Service products is seeking an individual with experience in the Insurance Industry, preferably in Medical underwriting. This individual should be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of Medical Terminology, be comfortable working in a high production environment, have customer service skills, and the ability to work as a team.
This candidate will be responsible for completing inbound and outbound calls, the input of medical and non medical information into the system, reviewing and medically underwriting low complexity applications within company guidelines, verifying information, evaluating morbidity/mortality risks for Life and Disability coverage's, and actively contributing to staff projects.
A qualified candidate will either have 1-3 years of Insurance experience, or an Associates degree.
